Float Fest Returns for First Time Since 2018

Following multiple setbacks, Float Fest will finally return in Gonzales, Texas, on July 23-24, presented by Coca-Cola. Due to switching location to San Marcos, Texas, Float Festival was canceled in 2019 as the new location in Gonzales was under construction. Following a further two-year suspension due to COVID-19, Float Festival will return with a star-studded lineup featuring Vampire Weekend, Marshmello, Cage The Elephant, and deadmau5.

The festival offers unique packages that include an option for a Weekend Tubing Pass and/or a Camping option; the tubing option will take place at the two-mile-long Guadalupe River. Specific camping passes and RV passes grant access to camping grounds for overnight stay.

In addition to the unique mix of camping, tubing, and music, the two-day event will also showcase impressive acts such as Chance the Rapper, CHVRCHES, Pusha T, and Lord Huron. Thankfully for attendees, this year’s organizers specifically stated there are no overlapping performance times. This year’s venue is three times larger than the previous location, allowing for a “can’t-miss event.”
