RÜFÜS DU SOL Add Four New Dates to 2022 North American “Surrender” Tour
Grammy-winning live electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL expanded its wildly popular 2022 “Surrender” tour to include four more dates, bringing the total number of stops to 21 across North America. Produced by Live Nation, the highly anticipated shows will include support from a stellar selection of electronic music’s rising stars including Curtis Harding, Lastlings, Paraleven, WhoMadeWho, and Bora Uzer.
The new dates include a third night on June 12 at Forest Hills Stadium in Forest Hills, NY added after June 10 and 11 sold out. In addition, the band has added two major bowl shows in California, at the Santa Barbara Bowl with support from Paraleven on October 8 and the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles with support from Curtis Harding on October 9. RÜFÜS DU SOL will close out the tour with a performance at the FPL Solar Amphitheater at Bayfront Park in Miami, FL on October 23 with support from Bora Uzer.
Made up of Australian natives Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George, and James Hunt, RÜFÜS DU SOL have taken North America by storm, selling over 180,000 tickets in 2022 so far. High demand in Chicago saw the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island expand their capacity to 20,000 for the June 1 performance, while sold-out shows at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater in Del Valle, TX on September 22, The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA on October 1, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO on October 15 and 16 have catapulted the band into the ranks of electronic music’s biggest acts.
