Heatwave Music Festival Announces Inaugural Event Where Music Meets Art
Heatwave Music Festival will debut in Chicago this summer with a sizzling lineup of electronic dance music superstars combined with a fully immersive pop-art experience. Produced by Auris Presents, the festival is scheduled to take over the Windy City’s Douglass Park July 16 & 17 with global tastemakers Above & Beyond, Galantis, RL Grime, Tiësto, and Zeds Dead topping a bill stacked with EDM innovators.

Larger-than-life house-inspired sounds will be on full display at Heatwave with Dutch DJ and producer Oliver Heldens, Grammy-nominated DJ Audien, South African livetronica duo Goldfish, hitmaker Frank Walker, rising star MADDS, and sultry Counter Records signee Kasbo. The billing continues with Endless Summer: Sam Feldt B2B Jonas Blue, Matoma, Borgeous, and more.

Scene leaders like G Jones, Ekali, Blunts & Blondes, and Boombox Cartel along with the rap crossover stylings of Lost Kings and Yellow Claw will be storming the event’s main stage. Heatwave also welcomes Bass and Tech House stars like J. Worra, Dr. Fresch, Shiba San, and Westend.

Bridging the gap between experiential art and the globe’s leading dance music performances, Heatwave will welcome a full range of soon-to-be-announced visual artists and creatives set to adorn Douglass Park with areas where attendees can lose themselves in other-worldly art installations.
