One Shot Deal Plays Zappa: 3 Nights, 6 Shows
One Shot Deal will overstuff The Baked Potato in Studio City, California, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, April 27-29, with two shows each night playing the music of Frank Zappa, and they’re getting the band back together!
This lineup features six musicians who all played in Zappa Plays Zappa, the band curated by Dweezil Zappa, and we’ll acknowledge that the list begins with superstar Scheila Gonzalez, who sings and plays keyboards and saxophones. More: Pete Griffin, bass; Billy Hulting, percussion; Jamie Kine, guitar; Ben Thomas, vocals and stuff; and the Vaultmeister, Joe Travers, on drums. Add to the list Matt Rohde on keyboards, and special guests are also on the menu!
