Green Day & The Lumineers Headline Inaugural Innings Festival Florida
Five-time Grammy Award-winning rock band Green Day and Americana folk rockers The Lumineers will headline the inaugural Innings Festival Florida that combines some of the most recognized names in music and the national pastime for an incredible weekend of music and baseball hits taking place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on March 19-20. The original Innings Festival began in Arizona in 2018 and is scheduled for February 26-27.
The two-day baseball-themed event will feature 20 of the most iconic bands playing on three stages with no overlapping sets, giving fans a chance to catch all the performances without skipping a beat.
On Saturday, March 19, Incubus, 311, Jimmy Eat World, Highly Suspect, Wolf Alice, David Duchovny, The Beaches and We are Scientists will perform before headliners Green Day take the stage to close out the night.
The following day, Sunday, March 20, will feature Khruangbin, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Goo Goo Dolls, O.A.R., Skip Marley, Neon Trees and Liz Cooper before that night’s headliners The Lumineers close out the festival.
Sunday will also feature a special “All-Star Baseball Jam” hosted by former Major League Baseball pitcher Jake Peavy.
The festival is designed to appeal to both music and baseball enthusiasts, with scheduled appearances by MLB legends including Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith and plenty of former MLB retired players along with a live taping of Off the Mound With Ryan Dempster, an on-site talk show featuring MLB players and musicians.
There will also be food vendors and family activities.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at inningsfestival.com/florida. General admission prices are $99 for one day, $145 for two. VIP packages are available.
