Pink Talking Fish Set Out on 11-State Cross-Country Tour.
Pink Talking Fish will be taking their psychedelic fusion of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish on the road this winter and spring for 15 U.S. dates across 11 states. The multi-region tour will cover parts of the Northeast, Midwest, Colorado, and the West Coast.
The tour kicks off this Saturday, February 5, at the historic Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH for the band’s annual Winter Carnival before heading to Hartford, CT on February 18 and Jay, VT on February 15. PTF will finish the month in Ardmore, PA on February 26.
March begins with a three-night run the 11th through the 13th at So Many Roads Brewery in Denver, CO. PTF will perform the first two nights before treating fans to a special Prince/Bowie show featuring an all-star lineup. This collective will feature all four PTF members (Eric Gould: bass, Richard James: keyboards, Zack Burwick: drums, Cal Kehoe: guitar) along with The Horn Section (formerly of Turkuaz), Chuck Morris from Lotus on percussion, and more. Pink Talking Fish will close out March with a swing back to Vermont where they’ll perform a rescheduled show in Burlington on March 19.
The band will then jump to the West Coast April 8 for Skulls and Roses festival in Ventura, CA before heading to Seattle, WA on April 09. Whiplash starts to set in when PTF returns to the East Coast on April 20 for a Phish afterparty in New York, NY.
The tour wraps up in the Midwest, starting with a two-night run in Ferndale, MI April 21-22 and stops in Chicago, IL on April 23 and Columbus, OH on April 24.
