Cornucopia Music & Arts Festival to Benefit Charities
This weekend’s Cornucopia Music & Arts Festival at Maddox Ranch in Lakeland, Florida, doubles as a charity event with five different beneficiaries. The event, which runs Friday through Sunday, November 19-21, will also have 20 arts-and-crafts vendors, three food vendors, and tons of workshops and activities. There will also be stilt walkers, acrobats, fire spinners, dancers, and Lunitik Cosmic Circus and Emporium. They also have Kamp Happiness setting up a really sweet all-night pickin’ lounge! Several artist on the lineup will be sitting in each night after the Moonshine stage is finished at 2 a.m.
Cornucopia benefits Florida non-profit Kids Rock the Nation. They will be raffling off two brand new guitars, one electric and one acoustic, for them. All alcohol sales will also go to Kids Rock the Nation.
They will be raffling off many other awesome items including arts, crafts, and services, even a certificate for a Jetski rental.
Other charities benefitted include:
SAFE – No Kill Animal Shelter
The Whitney Lab – Sea Turtle Rescue
Blessings and Hope Food Pantry
The Sunday wedding pairs Jennifer Tillman & John Waykin (John Waykin and friends, Free Range Strange). Their many friends will be joining the ceremony!
Oh, and there’s a LOT of music, too. Read about that here!
