Anemoia + Zero Context, Tommy Shugart Organ Trio at Dunedin Brewery This Weekend

There’s some superb music going down this Friday and Saturday, November 26 & 27, at Dunedin Brewery (Florida’s oldest microbrewery). These artists have graced the brewery stage before; anyone who has seen them know’s what’s up.

But just in case you don’t:

Friday, Anemoia bring their stunning music back to Dunedin from Miami. Their show August 19 opening for Electric Kif was a tighter-than-tight set of stunning fusion, avant garde, prog rock and more. They’re bringing the A-team: Aaron Lebos on guitar, Andres Ferret on bass, and Armando Lopez on drums. Check out our review here.

Opening Friday will be another of the creative projects of Michael Lyn Bryant, multi-instrumentalist and occasional word-spitter (also the proprietor of the joint), with Vinny Svoboda (Anthill Cinema) on bass, and Yral ‘datdudeondrums’ Morris. They call this No Context. We’ll see!

Tommy Shugart Organ Trio

Saturday, the dynamic Tommy Shugart returns with his organ trio. He plays with several different permutations of guitarists and drummers, all of them simply outstanding. Shugart has one foot firmly in the tradition and the other stepping into the future, as we saw March 20 when he was in town. Read that review here!
