Started in 2014, SweetWater 420 Fest has been on hiatus since it was sidelined by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, but event organizers are hopeful 2022 will be a banner year. “We just weren’t in the right spot yet from a COVID perspective. Now there’s a pent-up demand for people to celebrate life, which is really positive,” said festival owner Jennifer Bensch in a recent interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
