Della Mae Invite You to Their ‘Family Reunion’
Outstanding bluegrass quintet Della Mae have just released an outstanding new album, and they are taking their Family Reunion on the road. This September’s schedule was cut back from five dates to four; DelFest announced last Thursday their postponement until next May due to COVID barriers they could not surmount.
Likewise, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in San Francisco had to make the same decision. However, they had several more weeks’ lead time and have put together Hardly Strictly Bluegrass: Come What May October 1-3, a virtual festival. Click the link below for full details. Come What Mae?!
This September run will take Della Mae to Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts. They are also scheduled for Old Settler’s Music Festival in Texas October 21-23.
Della Mae are a GRAMMY-nominated, all-women string band with founder and fiddle player Kimber Ludiker, lead vocalist/guitarist Celia Woodsmith, guitarist Avril Smith, bassist Vickie Vaughn, and mandolinist Maddie Witler.
