Lettuce Announces “Bring Back The Love Tour” 2021
Lettuce, the undisputed masters of psychedelic cosmic funk, are gifting a world in need of a titanic injection of positive vibes with a massive 41-date tour. Building on previously announced summer dates, the Bring Back The Love Tour launches on July 2 in Dillon, CO and winds up in San Diego, CA on December 12.
In addition to Colorado, the tour will crisscross the U.S. this July including stops in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Tennessee before hitting several festivals in August, including Summer Camp in Chillicothe, IL; a mini festival headlined by Tedeschi Trucks Band in Arrington, VA; and the Hot August Music Festival in Cockeysville, MD. September brings more headlining dates for including performances in the Northeast and the Midwest.
In October, Lettuce lands in New Orleans on October 9 for RAGE!FEST, the band’s annual New Orleans Jazzfest afterparty (which was cancelled last year due to the ongoing pandemic). On Halloween weekend, they’ll make a pilgrimage to Suwannee Hulaween in Live Oak, FL and then on to Firefly Distillery in Charleston, South Carolina for an All Hallows’ Eve celebration.
November will see Lettuce covering a lot of ground around the South, Northeast and Midwest. The band will end up on the West Coast for the month on December with stops in Seattle, Portland, Eugene, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego.
Explaining the inspiration behind the name of the tour, Lettuce bassist Jesus Coomes said in a statement, “Lettuce was started because of Love, and we continue to do this for the love of you. We love each other; we love the music; we love you. The opposite of hate is what we stand up for, and we think there is no better time than the present to be loving and respectful all of the time to all of the life on this planet.”
Ticket sales for the general public begin June 11th at 10am local. Pre-sales will be available in specific markets using the code: BLAZE. For more information and how to purchase tickets, click on the links below.
