DAY.MVS XL Announces Initial Lineup For Its 2021 Rager
Things are heating up in San Diego, CA where DAY.MVS XL will touch down in Waterfront Park in August for two days of some of the best electronic music the genre has to offer. Set to take place August 7 and 8, the event will showcase some of the most popular performers in the biz, including Grammy-nominated tech-house sensation Fisher and US house icons MK and Felix da Housecat, among others.
Playing across two stages, they’ll be joined by progressive house star Lane 8, who will help curate a stage on Sunday, and the rapidly rising talents of Nora en Pure and Monolink. Other highlights include special back-to-back performances by Tiga and Danny Daze, live sets from Recondite, Yotto and Jeremy Olander, and a set from the beloved resident Lee K. Elsewhere, The Sponges and Yung Bae will bring the sunshine and funk. More acts will be added to this initial lineup in the near future.
The fun continues long into the night as DAY.MVS XL will host after-parties across the city in San Diego venues as well as setting sail for after-hours events on a boat departing from the Waterfront Park location. Food and beverage offerings will include some of San Diego’s favorite food stands, mixology programs, and pop-ups.
Launched in 2015, DAY.MVS had been held as a one-day event but expanded this year to two to augment its larger sister event CRSSD Festival. Both are produced by San Diego-based FNGRS CRSSD and were cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. No word yet on when CRSSD Festival will be back, but organizers hinted at a fall return for the popular electronic music fete.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, June 8 at noon PT at daymvs.com/xl/. For more information about DAY.MVS XL and how to purchase tickets, click on the links below.
