Gasolina Party Returns, Bringing Reggaetón Vibes to the Nation

Live Nation’s Gasolina Party, the country’s largest Reggaetón event property and community, returns to the road this summer with a series of bashes celebrating the genre’s energy and culture. Driven by Latin music fans committed to bringing “Reggaetón Vibes” to the nation, the party will be in Texas and Arizona for four engagements, with more to be announced.

The tour kicks off on June 18 at Gas Monkey Bar N’ Grill in Dallas, TX and Paper Tiger in San Antonio, TX on June 19. The party then lands at The Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ on August 6 and The Rialto Theatre in Tuscon, AZ on August . In addition to DJs spinning hit Reggaetón and EDM music, the events will feature undisclosed special guests. Before the pandemic cancelled all music events, Gasolina Party showcased local performers including Houston groups Bombon and Blackout and Sacramento-based DJ Oasis and FVME Crew serving up old-school Reggaetón and new school wave.

Along with the return of live events after the initial restrictions of the pandemic, Gasolina has also recently launched Gasolina Records to coincide with its ongoing event series as they continue to push the sounds of American-based reggaetón to the forefront. Founded by industry vet Sal Moreno, Gasolina Party ran a popular weekly bash at Academy LA in Los Angeles, CA, where it returns today, May 19, for the release of new music from Gasolina artist and  seasoned Ecuadorian / American producer 2DEEP, who is supported by acts like Major Lazer, Steve Aoki, and Dillon Francis. Take a listen to 2DEEP’s new single, originally released on May 14,  here.

Influenced by iconic Latin music artists Daddy Yankee, J Balvin and Nicki Jam, Reggaetón originated in Puerto Rico in the 1990s. Since then, its blend of Reggae, Latin hip hop, salsa, and dancehall sounds have exploded on the music scene, with Gasolina Party currently leading the movement as one of the largest roving events in the country.
