Dirtybird Campout Announces June 11 Flash Sale
Chief camp counselor and internationally-renowned DJ Claude VonStroke returns to curate the world’s largest adult summer camp experience when Dirtybird Campout lands in Central California this fall. Set to take place on the shores of the Modesto Reservoir Campground October 15-17, the three-day event beckons fans of electronic and bass music to join in on the no-holds-barred fun with a 24-hour flash sale scheduled for June 11 starting at 10 a.m. PT.
Begun in 2003, Dirtybird Campout was put on hold in 2020 due to COVID-19. But now that the music industry is slowly springing back to life, the anticipation is building for the festival’s roster of popular eclectic artists and its signature looney activities. While the lineup has to be announced, past bills have included such electronic music stars as Ardalan, Cut Chemist, Christian Martin and Heidi. Dirtybird “campers” can also look forward to raucous, silly games like floatie races, tug-of-war, dodgeball, totem-making, and more.
This announcement comes on the heels of Dirtybird CampINN, a three- day event held May 14-17 at the Avanti Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida, that utilized proof of vaccination and rapid PCR testing to ensure fans’ safety. CampINN’s success offered a taste of the return of the flagship 2021 Campout to California. Dirtybird Campout organizers will employ the necessary state-required Covid-19 protocols to stage the safest event possible.
