DelFest Returns, Moving to September
Del McCoury‘s festival, usually held on Memorial Day weekend, is moving to the fall for safety concerns. As always, the Maryland-based festival will have a great mix of traditional and progressive bluegrass and Americana artists. Along with Del and his band, the preliminary lineup features Old Crow Medicine Show, Leftover Salmon, Infamous Stringdusters, Sam Bush, and Mandolin Orange among many others. Set in the beautiful Allegheny Mountains, DelFest has always been a highlight for acoustic music fans.
The festival runs for four days and nights (Spetember 23-26) with late-night shows, on-site camping, a kid’s area and activities, artist playshops, a bluegrass band competition, food & drink, arts & crafts, and much more!
There is more to come on the lineup, but already these artists have been announced: The Travelin’ McCourys, St. Paul & the Broken Bones, The Lil Smokies, Della Mae, Cris Jacobs Band, Hot Club of Cowtown, Frank Solivan & Dirty Kitchen, The Broomestix, Rob Ickes & Trey Hensley, Steve Poltz, Sister Sadie, Lonesome River Band, Ghost of Paul Revere, Dre Anders, Twisted Pine, Fireside Collective, The Jakob’s Ferry Stragglers, Crying Uncle Bluegrass Band, Briches Bend, Haint Blue, Dirty Grass Players, and The 19th Street Band.
