The Motet Ready to Throw Down — Instrumentally
It has been a year since The Motet last played on stage, and they are primed and ready to go with eight shows over four nights in April. Tickets are moving fast; you know what you need to do.
On Friday and Saturday, April 2 & 3, The Motet will play at Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek, Colorado, two shows per night. Jeff Franca, percussionist for Thievery Corporation, will join them on April 3. The band is coming fresh off a series of studio sessions in March, and they will be debuting a bunch of new music during these unique INSTRUMENTAL shows.
The Motet will head to Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom April 23 & 24, two shows each night. The late shows are sold out. Franca will again join them on percussion.
The Motet are: Drew Sayers, saxophone, keyboards; Ryan Jalbert, guitar; Joey Porter, keyboards; Garrett Sayers, bass; and Dave Watts, drums.
