Grammy Award-Winners Billy Strings: No Point Taking Names
Billy Strings — the man and his band — have been on an incredible roll of late, including their six-day The Déjà Vu Experiment residency at The Cap in Port Chester and their recent acquisition of the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album. they’ve been kicking so much ass there are, frankly, no names left to take! Strings also said they are:
Honored to be included in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s new exhibit “American Currents: State of the Music” — it’s open now, and recognizes artists, musicians, and songwriters who helped shape country music over the past year.
Billy Strings and the boys — Billy Strings, vocals, guitar, banjo; Billy Failing, vocals, banjo; Jarrod Walker, vocals, mandolin; and Royal Masat, vocals, bass — are finally back on the road with 14 shows this spring in the South (beginning tonight in St. Augustine at The Amp), then Concert on The Farm at Bonnaroo Farm at the end of May.
