Good Luck Keeping Up with The Allman Betts Band
We say that because these boys are über-busy. We noted that last October when The Allman Betts Band were in the vanguard of bands touring in a responsible and safe way for the venues, fans, and the band. And they are crushing it once again, with 59 dates currently on the books and more to come.
First up is the group’s Spring Tour, kicking off April 9 at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe AZ and winding through the Midwest and South for 15 dates. After a brief break, they hit the road again for 12 shows in May and June, primarily in the South but also including two in the Northeast and three out west.
ABB also have two dates in Germany and the Netherlands at the beginning of July before they embark on a huge Spirit of the South Tour with Blackberry Smoke and The Wild Feathers. Posters also indicate that Jaimoe, drumming partner of the late Butch Trucks in The Allman Brothers Band, will be part of the tour. There 20 dates splashed across the Midwest, Northeast, and the South.
Not enough? How about seven more West Coast shows in September, then on to Missouri and Pennsylvania before the King Biscuit Blues Festival 2021 in Arkansas in October?
