Dunedin Brewery Rocking Killer Lineup for April and May
Dunedin Brewery has been at the forefront of safe and sound shows since last August, when they determined they could seat 30 patrons inside and many more outside (with the music also playing on the patio).
The calendar for April and May is filling up quickly. Here is what we know so far:
Outstanding jamtronica trio Future Vintage from St. Petersburg will be in for two night to open April, with Matt Giancola, keyboards, guitar, vocals; Trevor McDannel, bass, bass synth; and Tucker Sody, drums.
The following week, Mike Dillon brings his percussion parade back to Dunedin, this time with Ms. Nikki Glaspie and Brian Haas, for two great nights.
The Ricca Project is the latest offshoot of The Heavy Pets, South Florida jam stalwarts, featuring with keyboard wizard Jim Wuest and drummer Jamie Newitt.
Brock Butler has been rocking all over Florida and a frequent DunBrew guest. He and Adam Perry will do a PGroove acoustic duo evening.
Fine Dead purveyors Unlimited Devotion return for two nights as April turns to May.
My Weird Uncle is improvised downtempo lofi hiphop jungle and drum’n’bass by Jamie Newitt, Alex Sears, and Michael Lyn Bryant. The Friday night show will feature guests Giancola, McDannel, and Sody from Future Vintage. Saturday’s guests are Sody, Vinnie Svoboda, and Yral ‘datdudeondrums’ Morris.
And KAMANI is back! KAMANI features KAt Dyson (Prince) on guitar, MAtt Lapham (Shak Nasti, Roosevelt Collier, De Uniklorn) on bass, NIkki Glaspie (The Nth Power) on drums and vocals; and NIgel Hall, keyboards and vocals. (Glaspie did point out that it could be KAMANINI, but it’s not!)
