Joe Marcinek Quartet Heading to Winter Park to Record JMB4

Joe Marcinek is rounding up the usual suspects. If you’ve been keep track of his “usual suspects,” you know that the list includes A-list players from across the country playing rock, funk, jazz, R&B, and [FILL IN THE BLANK]. They are heading to Winter Park, Florida, to record, and they will also play a show at the outstanding venue Dexter’s The New Standard this Saturday, February 20.

So who, exactly, is “they”? Guitarist and singer Marcinek, the Hoosier who regards the Sunshine State as his second home, has assembled an incredible band for this project. On bass and vocals: Tony Hall of Dumpstaphunk. On drums and vocals: Nikki Glaspie of The Nth Power. On keyboards and vocals: Shaun Martin of Snarky Puppy and his own band.
