Great Moments in TV Music History: Alice Cooper on Tomorrow with Tom Snyder

By 1981, Alice Cooper had released 13 albums, beginning with Pretties for You in 1969. The group’s 14th effort was Special Forces, another absolutely killer rock album. Those who had written Alice Cooper off as a fad or gimmick were sorely mistaken. This band CRUSHED.

They appeared on Tomorrow, the show hosted by Tom Snyder, shortly after the album’s release. For this performance, they played an incredible medley of the new album’s opening track, “Who Do You Think We Are,” followed by a brilliant cover of “Seven and Seven Is,” the ’60s monster hit by Love, which is the second track on Special Forces.

Alice Cooper has just released the superb Detroit Stories; the man is indefatigable!
