Roosevelt Collier has graced the stage at The New Standard several times this year, as has Ms. Nikki Glaspie, in town recently with KAMANI. Collier is the pedal steel guitar master (and master of the “lap” steel as well — in quotes because have you seen his “lap” steel?). Glaspie is the powerhouse drummer with The Nth Power and a fine vocalist as well.
