Juanjamon Presents New Year’s Babe in St. Petersburg

In this year of COVID-19 and so many lost opportunities to congregate with our like-minded music friends, we were again sad but understanding knowing that our annual convocation at Hometeam New Year’s Rally would be put on hold for a year.

Now there is a bright spot, as Juanjamon Presents Babe, a birthday party for Jessica Jones and so very much more at Tiny Town in St. Petersburg, Florida, on New Year’s Eve. Jones is the spectacular vocalist who works in a dozen bands in her Denver home. She first visited our area in July to help celebrate Dani Gregory’s birthday with concerts featuring Dave Watts (The Motet) and more. Then she blew into Monster Mash like a tornado and rocked everybody’s world every time she stepped on stage (which was a bunch).

And now she’s coming back, for her birthday, with an incredible band: Jason Hann (the String Cheese Incident, EOTO) on percussion, D.J. Williams (Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe) on guitar and vocals, Ben Atkind (Goose) on drums, Shane Platten (The Melody Trucks Band) on bass, and that Juanjamon guy (CopE, The Juanjamon Band) on tenor saxophone, keyboards, and vocals.

In the event you cannot make it to St. Pete for NYE, Jones’ group has three other shows around the state put on by Get Laws’t Entertainment; check those dates out here.

Then in honor of HTNYR, there will be great musical performances by: CopE, The Reality, Este Loves, Tropico Blvd, Tire Fire, The Juanjamon Band, Savii, Audrey Short, One Love Rising, and the Ben Luchka Band. There will be DJs spinning as well.

Tickets available in advance or at the door: $40 per person, $20 after 3 a.m. This is a BYOB events. Drinks and food will be available for purchase. Your destination is Tiny Town, 2520 Emerson Avenue South in St. Pete.
