Roosevelt Collier and Electric Kif: CJH Presents Wanderlust – Saturday
The Clearwater Jazz Holiday was, like all other festivals everywhere, dealt the COVID-19 blow, cancelling October’s celebration of music. In its stead, they are offering a reimagined series of events, with CJH’s special touch: small-scale, open-air, intimate, and socially distanced concerts. These have been going on since mid-October, and most have sold out, including shows through this Friday.
Tickets are still available for the show this Saturday featuring the Roosevelt Collier Band and Electric Kif. We have covered these artists extensively. And with good reason.

Roosevelt Collier is one of the premier pedal steel guitar players on the scene. He comes from the sacred steel traditional and was, an occasionally still is, a member of The Lee Boys. Collier has committed himself to supporting small venues that hold responsibly run events such as this. As he says, “I’m itchin’ to get back on stage!”

Electric Kif is an outstanding fusion band from Miami. They have been a great presence at music festivals such as Suwannee Rising, Orange Blossom Jamboree, and Suwannee Hulaween. The gents from Kif have often played with Collier, and for this show they will back him.
