Monster Mash Schedule is Here!
Ready for a safe, socially distanced festival for this Halloween weekend? Monster Mash feels you! Here is the daily schedule!
THURSDAY, October 29
Gates open at noon at Lone Palm Ranch in Hastings, Florida. Music begins at 5 with Danka, a great Jacksonville reggae-punk band. Then Joe Marcinek rolls in (from Indiana; he has dual citizenship with Florida) with a real cast of characters, including Stephanie Perez, guitar (Lucid Wake); Matt Lapham, bass (Shak Nasti, Roosevelt Collier Trio); Juanjamon, vocals, tenor sax, keyboards (CopE); and Brandon Howell, drums (Custard Pie).
Matt Henderson (guitarist from Danka) plays next, and the late-night set on the Carve Stage is Joy Wagon from Orlando!

7:30 – 9:30 Joe Marcinek & Friends
10:00 – 12:00 Matt Henderson
12:30 – 2:00 Joy Wagon
FRIDAY, October 30
Time for early-morning yoga with Kay Basham!
Sweet As Folk kicks off the music at noon. You know her as Arielle D’Ornellas, photographer and graphic artist extraordinaire (she did the artwork for all of the Monster Mash media). Then Joy Wagon is back for round two, this time with MC Leroy Sly in tow.
The Tom Bennett Band brings you piano pop prog, followed by outstanding rockers Bonnie Blue; these guys are monstrously good! Ben Strok and the Full Electric have the next slot, and we remember how they tore it up at the inaugural Suwannee Rising last year. All three bands are from Jax.
The evening’s headliners are the Roosevelt Collier Trio, with Collier on pedal steel guitar, Matt Lapham on bass, and Anthony AC Cole on drums and vocals. Late-night jams come courtesy of Beartoe and Friends: featuring Milan Algood (LPT), Matt Lapham (Shak Nasti, Roosevelt Collier Trio), Christina Nakajima (Saddletramp), Dan Hunting (Squeedlepuss), and Nigel Ledford (Firewater Tent Revival).

Yoga time again! Blacksheep Troubadour gets Saturday off to an early start with his “song-tellin’ stories,” followed by Them Vagabonds and some great Jax Beach jam. Grindstone Sinners, who played the Monster Mash pre-party last Friday, are bringing their old-school rock and fine originals from Orlando.
Then the Tampa madmen — The Reality — roll in for a frightening performance, including one great new cover just in time for Halloween! (Honestly, them boys just ain’t right.)
Side Hustle (have you caught any of their Bottom of the Bill podcasts?) are an amazing quartet out of Jax who can rock, funk, and roll with the best of ’em.
CopE. Florida’s jam kings are coming to Hastings to delight the faithful and convert the uninitiated with deep jams.
The Monster Mash Electric Hustle is a mash-up for certain! And Firewater Tent Revival has the late-night stage covered.
