FESTY 2020 — October 1 — Sierra Hull and Justin Moses
FESTY 2020 is up and running! Thursday night, October 1, was the third night of the event that runs fromSeptember through November. The first two nights — September 26 & 27 — featured David Wax Museum (Duo) and Lowland Hum.
FESTY takes place Live from Chisholm Vineyards in Charlottesville, Virginia. Thursday night’s show featured Sierra Hull (mandolin and guitar) and Justin Moses (guitar, dobro) and their gorgeous voices. Photographer Jody Carbone was excited!
Last night’s FESTY 2020 concert was great. My first post-covid public experience, and everything was very well done. With safe distancing and a happy, compliant audience, live music can come back! Kudos to the FESTY 2020 team and Chisholm Vineyards
Special shout-out to Josh Thilmony: thanks for great lighting! It was good to see you again.
It wouldn’t be FESTY without a few raindrops, which stopped exactly no one from having a good time!
Here is video from the second set. FESTY 2020, as the host points out, is working to get live streams up for upcoming shows.
