Kendall Street Company to Host The Company Picnic This Weekend
Jam band Kendall Street Company, yet another bright spot on the amazing Virginia music scene, are hosting their very own two-day event this weekend: Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6. They call it The Company Picnic. The socially-distanced, live music event will feature Kendall Street Company performing two sets each day at Chisholm Vineyards at Adventure Farm north of Charlottesville in Albemarle County with a backdrop of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Safety is a top priority at The Company Picnic, so capacity will be limited to 200 persons each day. Tickets are sold in 2-person, 4-person, and 6-person packages or “bubbles,” with each group of close friends or family being assigned a designated area to watch the performances. Each bubble will have a unique QR code that allows the group to order food, beer, wine, and cider to be delivered to their bubble, encouraging patrons to stay in place. Patrons will also be required to wear masks to the event but will be allowed to remove them within their bubbles. Read more about the protocols on the Chisholm Vineyards link below.
General Admission tickets include custom Kendall Street Company face masks and signed event posters. While you get ready to purchase your tickets, enjoy new single “Lady in Green” from the group’s upcoming album The Stories We Write for Ourselves, due out next month.
Kendall Street Company are: Louis Smith, acoustic guitar, vocals; Brian Roy, basses, vocals; Ryan Wood, drums, percussion; Ben Laderberg, electric guitar, vocals; and Jake Vanaman, saxophone.
