SOS Music Fest (Save Our Summer) This Weekend in Lincolnton, Georgia

SOS Music Fest (Save Our Summer) is a festival lead by bluegrass music industry professionals with a mission to fight back for the summer that was twisted into a knot by COVID-19. There will be camping, jamming, and live stage shows. As a bonus, there will be an online broadcast for people not quite ready to attend. The organizers are working hard to make you feel like you are there interacting with the bands and the fans.

They are following all of the protocols necessary to keep everyone safe: outdoor seating properly spaced apart, temperature checks, special care with sanitary measures, and masks available for everybody who doesn’t have one.

Your destination is The Lewis Family Homeplace, 1935 Lewis Family Road, in Lincolnton, Georgia. Your hosts are Ernie and Debi Evans, and the MC for both days — Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27 — is Sherry Boyd.

Performing Friday are: The Malpass Brothers, Kody Norris Show, Rebekah Speer, and Willie Wells and BRMG. On Saturday’s lineup: Sideline, Deeper Shade of Blue, Backline, and Savannah River Bluegrass.
