Suwannee Spring Reunion Confirms the Show Will Go On
With all of the concerns about the Covid-19 (Corona Virus) causing large-scale festivals to cancel or reschedule events, we reached out to the upcoming Suwannee Spring Reunion for confirmation that the show will go on as scheduled March 19-22 . We are very happy to say that it will! The annual four-day roots music festival is held at the majestic Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida, and draws fans from across the Southeast.
Festival Director Beth Judy had this to say,
“We are closely monitoring the coronavirus [Covid-19] situation. The safety of our guests, staff, artists, vendors and the Live Oak community is a top priority.
Suwannee Spring Reunion is going forward as planned. Our venue is unique in that it, for the most part, utilizes open-air stages. We plan to increase the number of hand-washing stations and are making hand sanitizers readily available in the key areas. Most of our guests arrive via their personal vehicles and campers and they come mostly from Florida and neighboring states.
If you are sick or are exposed to anyone in your household who is sick with runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever, difficulty breathing, body aches or any additional flu-like symptoms, please stay home. If you are not able to attend due to Covid-19 or the flu, we will honor your purchased pass at a future festival, provided you submit documentation from a medical doctor.
Stay tuned to SuwanneeSpringReunion.com for any future information. Suwannee Spring Reunion is an important part of so many of our lives and I believe it’s important for the festival to happen if at all possible. With the support of our festival community, if each of us is responsible for our actions and take the suggested precautions, we should be able to have a safe and enjoyable festival!”
