The National Homecoming 2020
The National Homecoming 2020 returns to Cincinnati, Ohio, May 8-9. Homecoming has been a hometown festival and celebration curated by the band, The National, who are originally from Cincinnati. The National is bringing in some great indie names like Sylvan Esso, Local Natives, Phosphorescent, Of Monsters and Men, Japanese Breakfast, and plenty more.
The National recently announced a tour kicking off in Tokyo, Japan, in March. After two shows in Tokyo, the band will tour through Australia and New Zealand, finally making their way home to the states just in time for Homecoming. The National will headline both nights, beginning Friday, May 8, playing through their 2010 High Violet album. To further add to the unique lineup, Patti Smith and her band will play on Saturday, May 9. Over the festival weekend, special performances, art installations and exhibitions will be taking place all throughout the city in association with Bryce Dessner’s MusicNOW project that will include local Cincinnati talent (tickets sold separately).
Homecoming daily passes, whole weekend passes and VIP are all on sale now, with price tiers increasing, so don’t sleep on this wonderfully crafted festival in the heart of Cincinnati.
