Dustin Lynch, Chris Jansen, Michael Ray and More at New Country 103.1 Rib Round Up

The biggest barbecue in South Florida returns to West Palm Beach on Saturday, March 7, for a day of some of the best country music this side of Nashville. The New Country 103.1 Rib Round Up Music Festival brings together an incredible lineup of music along with some mouth-watering barbecue by selected pit masters that’s a must-have at this annual event.

Rib Round Up isn’t just a music festival; it’s an all-day party. The tailgating starts in the morning, and the party moves into the ithink Financial Amphitheater once the gates open at noon. If this is your first time attending Rib Round Up, pace yourself: this all-day-and-night party runs until 11:00 p.m. and will fill your day with music, beer and plenty more of both. The early arrivals typically play a few games of cornhole, drink a couple of cold ones and maybe do a little grillin’ of their own. It’s a party that everyone looks forward to annually at this highly attended event.

In its eleventh year, the annual Rib Round Up Country Music Festival draws both music and barbecue lovers from all over Florida. Ribs are the choice for many, although there have been plenty of other tasty foods to select from in years past. Ten of the most notable pit masters from across the nation will be serving up countless plates of ribs cooked low and slow for those who like to indulge on those tasty grilled meats.

This year’s lineup features some well recognized chart topping names and a few up-and-coming stars. The highly anticipated lineup includes Dustin Lynch (9:40p), Chis Jansen (8:10p), Michael Ray (6:55p) Carley Pearce (5:55p), Matt Stell (4:55p) and Travis Denning (4:05).

Record numbers were in attendance last year as Kip Moore, Chase Rice, Chris Lane, and Morgan Wallen headlined the event. If you’re a fan of country music and barbecue, Rib Round Up is your annual destination.

Headlining the event this year is Tennessee native Dustin Lynch, whose single “Cowboys and Angels” peaked at #40 on Billboard’s Hot 100. Lynch has had a stellar career so far with seven songs reaching the No. 1 position on Country Airplay.

Chis Jansen is known for his wild, electric performance style that keeps him moving from the guitar to the piano to the harmonica. His high-energy antics keeps his fans movin’ and groovin’ during his set. Jansen became a country sensation in 2015 with his hit “Buy Me a Boat” that peaked at number 2 on Billboard’s Hot Country charts.

New Country 103.1 is giving back to those who sacrifice so much for others by thanking local first-responders, active military, and veterans with passes to attend Rib Round Up 2020. Information on that program can be found here.

Rib Row is the annual place to stop by while attending Rib Round Up, where over 10,000 lbs of ribs are served annually. Prominent local and national pit masters will be serving up their very best ribs in an effort to be crowned rib champion. The rib contest is judged throughout the day, with the pit master champion being named before the festival concludes.

If the headline bands aren’t enough country music for you, head over to Rib Row, where you’ll find the Rib Stage that features a select group of local artists playing the stage throughout the day. This year Evan Grushka (12:30p), Joe Noto (2:00p), Jameson Rodgers (3:05p), Uproot Hootenanny (5:20p), and Andrew Morris Band (6:30p) are set to perform.
