Tire Fire: Bluegrass Fusion from Florida and Georgia

What do you get when you combine three Georgians with three Floridians? Sounds like bluegrass fusion to us in the form of Tire Fire, a great new addition to the genres, although this quintet stretches out in numerous directions from that label. We think you’ll be hearing a lot more from this outstanding group!

Tire Fire are: Devin Harris, dobro; Dani Jaye, fiddle; Trey Miller, banjo;  Chris Ricker, guitar; and Sean Hartley, bass. Everybody sings. And now Arrie Bozeman has joined the band on mandolin!

Trey Miller’s previous band was Blübop Fandango. He also curated an outstanding event called Li’l Econ Love Fest for several years. Arrie Bozeman is also a member of the great new Atlanta group The Ain’t Sisters.

Chris ‘Critter’ Ricker established himself as guitarist for Copious Jones, prominent Atlanta jammers, and also put together Dot Line Projekt.

Sean Hartley has been a member of at least a dozen great bands at some point, including Antelope, Come Back Alice, Tony Tyler Trance, Wild Root, Legacy Orchestra Collective, and Somatic.
