Jaden Carlson Band Wows with New Single “Skyline”

The Jaden Carlson Band teased out great things to come with the release of their new single “Skyline,” a work that cements their place among some of the most innovative artists on the scene today.

Led by 18-year-old guitar phenomenon and vocalist Jaden Carlson, the Denver-based electro-funk/fusion quartet includes Chris Beck (key/synthesizer/piano/organ), Eric Imbrosciano (drums), and Fred Reisen (bass). Together they hit next-level sonic transcendence with “Skyline,”  a tune filled with smooth grooves. The song bridges genres with elements of jazz, fusion, funk, dance and electronic beats, reflecting a band with their fingers on the pulse of music’s fluid trends. Take a listen for yourself below.

Recorded in The Mile High City, the instrumental track was co-produced by Carlson and Jonah Wisneski and engineered by Logan Emerson, both from Blue Silo Studio. Carlson also mastered the tune at Hyphonic Studio along with bassist/drummer/producer/engineer Alex Scott, who has worked with festival A-listers including members of Blues Traveler, Ween, Thievery Corporation and more.

While JCB’s recordings, including 2018’s full-length album Keep It Movin,’ are superb, their powerful live performances are even more masterful. They are pretty much old hats at flooring audiences in and around their home state of Colorado as well as across the country at festivals such as Summer Camp and Suwannee Hulaween. Check out our recap of the band’s performance at this year’s Hulaween in “Uncovering Hulaween’s Undercard Discoveries” along with the video below courtesy of liveVU Hattervision.
