2nd Annual Virgin Islands Jam Fest Set for March 5-7

We were sorry to miss the inaugural VI Jam Fest last March. We won’t miss it again. What is VI Jam Fest, you ask? It is the Virgin Islands Jam Fest at Neptune’s Lookout on historic Estate Susannaberg on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. There is onsite camping, and other housing is available. No passport is required for U.S. Citizens. Mark your calendars: March 5-7

Be sure to take a look at our photo essay of the 2019 VI Jam Fest!

This could be just the getaway you need to cleanse yourself while immersing in wonderful community, music, and art. This shindig is being presented by Cruz Bay Music and Because of the Lotus with support from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Cruzan Rum, The Hills St. John, Paradise Lumber and Hardware, Eno Hammocks, and Festicket.

Neptune’s Lookout

And a word about Because of the Lotus. Many of you are familiar with their amazing art installations at festivals and other events “that symbiotically fuse fine art with digital art and biofeedback to bring paintings to life.” The Because of the Lotus team includes: Pat Anglin, paintings, digital art, animation; Moe Angelo, biofeedback, projections, 3D animation, lasers; Daniel Morris, operations, wellness initiatives; Michael McCarthy, projections, video, photo; and Benjamin Smith, architecture, construction.

Because of the Lotus

Neptune’s Lookout would be a magical place even if there were no music, but there is so much great music to help you forget about the insanity of the “real world,” if only for a little bit. We’ll investigate most of these folks as we get nearer to the event, but let’s just enjoy this lineup for the moment: Chali 2na, Zach Deputy, Passafire, Mel’s Knappyass Friends, Vana Liya, Bubba Love, Sol Driven Train, Ike Kanakanui, Harsh Armadillo, Inity Xplosion,  Poet’s Lounge, and Erin Hart.

Start planning for this incredible event. You’ll be glad you did. Check the website for tons of important info.
