Dead Fest St. Pete This Weekend Sold Out
The operative bumper sticker for the music about to unfold Friday and Saturday, November 22-23, at Cage Brewing in St. Petersburg, Florida, would be:
If you’ve got one of those on your Cadillac, or even if you don’t, have we got the festival for you! Dead Fest St. Pete is bringing a ton of Dead-ly talent to Cage Brewing for two great days.
WELL, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IT IS SOLD OUT, BUT HERE ARE THE DETAILS.
Unlimited Devotion featuring Scott Guberman of Phil Lesh and Friends will close both nights of music. Unlimited Devotion calls South Florida home.
There is an outstanding group of women from states ranging from Massachusetts to Florida with great vocals and excellent musicianship. Brown Eyed Women will also play both days.
David Gans, who manages the venerable radio programs The Grateful Dead Hour and Tales from the Road, will also perform both days.

Local legend and keyboard master The Rev. Funky D will host Funky D’s Super Jam both Friday and Saturday.

Saturday, Tampa’s amazing Uncle John’s Band will join the party. These gents have been doing this for 30 years, with 1076 shows played just at Skipper’s Smokehouse plus hundreds more.

Twenty hours of the music of the Grateful Dead should about do it, don’t you think?
