Ultra Goes to Abu Dhabi
Ultra Music Festival is an annual outdoor electronic music festival. It typically takes place in Miami, Florida, in March. Founded in 1999, Ultra Music Festival landed in Miami over 20 years ago. In 2019, it took a break from Miami and was hosted in Virginia Beach while organizers worked out new a footprint for the home base.
UMF is known for bringing the most notable electronic music artists to their stages as well as launching careers of prodigy-like artists on the rise. Artists of past UMF events include Josh Wink, Martin Garrix, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Tiësto, deadmau5, Calvin Harris, and The Crystal Method.
Over time, the event has branched out internationally across almost 30 countries. In 2020, Ultra is spreading out once again, making its debut in the middle east with Ultra Abu Dhabi. The event goes down over two days on March 5 and 6.
The buck doesn’t stop there. Ultra is taking this train all over the world. Also in 2020, Ultra returns to India for the first time since 2017 with appearances in New Delhi and Hyderabad March 7-8. They return to South Africa with scheduled events on Feb 28-29 in Cape Town and Johannesburg. As well, they’ll be in Australia visiting Sydney and Melbourne in March.
Lineups have not yet been announced. Tickets are available for Miami, South Africa and Australia. Tickets for other UMF dates will be announced on a later date.
