Riptide Music Festival Set To Take Over Fort Lauderdale Beach Nov. 23 & 24

The fourth annual Riptide Music Festival will once again take over Fort Lauderdale Beach on Saturday, November 23, and Sunday, November 24, with an impressive lineup of more than two dozen bands. It’s not surprising that Riptide is one of the most interesting, multi-genre and multi-sensory music festivals that continues to draw record crowds year after year. Riptide 2019 is “Powered by Ford” and hosted by South Florida radio station 104.3 The Shark.

Many will come to Fort Lauderdale to enjoy fun in the sun while listening to their favorite artists as the rest of the nation settles in for the cold winter months. This year’s festival returns to its original two-day format after last year’s expanded three days of music, art and culinary experience.

Last year’s festival drew 37,000 people over the three-day beachfront music festival. With a solid lineup, people traveled in from all parts of the nation to attend the only November summer-like festival, where you could spend the day at the beach listening to and watching legendary artists like The Killers and The 1975.

There is no question that Riptide has become the annual winter destination for music lovers. What draws people to attend Riptide? Where do we begin? For starters, it’s usually very cold throughout much of the U.S. in November. For those who detest the cold, it’s your chance to get away, even for the weekend, to escape the almost-winter blues. Riptide takes place in Fort Lauderdale, where the average November temperature is 83 degrees, where you can wear t-shirts and shorts, dip your toes in the sand, and even go for a swim in the Atlantic. The amazing lineup combined with ideal weather makes the perfect pairing to escape the winter blues and enjoy your favorite tropical drink or beverage of choice. It doesn’t get much better for a winter music festival. Riptide has it figured out.

The idyllic setting will host a diverse lineup featuring bands that cater to young and not-so-young music fans. If you seek the ultimate festival experience, take a trip through the rainbow tunnel and be sure to stop by the underground village, where there will be popup concerts, interactive art experiences, snack samples and plenty of festival swag. If you want to know if your favorite sports team is playing or just need to check on your fantasy sports team, head over to the Twin Peaks Ultimate Sports Lodge presented by Yuengling, where there will be plenty of TVs to catch up on the games and relax a bit in between acts.

The noteworthy Riptide lineup features headliners The Killers, The 1975 and Jimmy Eat World along with an alternative-rock heavy lineup that includes The Revivalists, Silversun Pickups, Judah & The Lion, Catfish and The Bottlemen, K. Flay, Barns Courtney, Shaed, Matt Maeson, Reel Big Fish, Morgxn, Switchfoot, Fuel, Meg Myers, Soul Asylum, New Politics, Smith & Thell, White Reaper, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, The Band Camino, and a massive multi-genre lineup that will fill both days and nights of this two-day event.

For the ultimate festival experience there are VIP ticket options that include premium viewing areas, air-conditioned restrooms, private bars with exclusive drink options, unlimited bottled water and express VIP entry.
