Kacey Musgraves, Beck and Foo Fighters to Headline Intersect Music Festival in Las Vegas
Kacey Musgraves, Beck and Foo Fighters are set to headline the first Intersect Music Festival taking place on Friday, December 6, and Saturday, December 7, in Las Vegas. The new interactive music festival is to be held at the 26-acre Las Vegas Festival Grounds along the famed Las Vegas strip’s north end.
The Intersect Music Festival has been described as “the intersection of music, art, and innovation.” The multi-genre lineup includes some of music’s biggest names in country, pop, rock, hip hop and indie music as they are set to take over Las Vegas during the early December weekend. The inaugural event is being put on by AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Live Nation during Amazon’s annual cloud-computing conference.
If the power-packed lineup isn’t enough, there will be over one million square feet of games and plenty of other activities to keep festival-goers entertained and engaged throughout the weekend, including the multi-sensory interactive digital art experiences, where you can see the merging of technology and art and how talented artists are creating new works of art. If technology is your thing, you can explore what’s new in tech, music and art all merged into one. Country sensation Kacey Musgraves is scheduled to perform alongside a fleet of over 500 Intel drones that has been choreographed by an all-female team. For those who want to work up a sweat to beat the cold, there will be plenty of traditional games like dodgeball you can play in a post-apocalyptic arena. There will be other hands-on original games to engage in.
