How Much Jam is ‘ENOUGH’ Jam?
That’s what we’re hearing from some self-proclaimed music lovers who tell us they just can’t abide musical festivals such as Suwannee Hulaween with wide-ranging genres and claim there isn’t enough jam to interest them.
WE HEAR YOU!
There’s a great festival coming up you should consider. Just check out this lineup!
Are you looking for some deep rock? How about Umphrey’s McGee, Tom Morello, Circles Around the Sun, Brandon ‘Taz’ Niederauer, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, the Kyle Hollingsworth Band, and The Hip Abduction?
How about funk to the degree of funk? You might like Thundercat, Lettuce, Star Kitchen, The Motet, Robert Walter’s 20th Congress, The Funk Hunters, Anderson .Paak & the Free Nationals, and Doom Flamingo.
Americana, bluegrass, and roots music? Offering up Billy Strings, Greensky Bluegrass, and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit.
Jamtronica your thing? Try Pnuma, EOTO, and STS9.
Great sounds from the islands? You’ve got Steel Pulse and LPT (trust us on this one).
Is the WTF category more to your liking? Like Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Andy Frasco & the U.N., and G. Love & Special Sauce?
Twenty-six great bands, and there will be more announced shortly. You should check THIS festival out! That’s a LOT of jam right there.
And it will be 27 bands, if you count some dairy-snack group playing, like, seven sets or something. String Cheese something or other…
HELL, YES, WE’RE TALKING ABOUT HULAWEEN!
You don’t need to bother with the stuff you claim you don’t like (although you could consider expanding your horizons); you won’t be able to see everybody you DO like!
Suwannee Hulaween returns to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida, October 24-27. The jams are calling you. LISTEN! Schedule additions coming soon!
