Billy Cobham’s Crosswinds Project Tour Update

The first four dates of Billy Cobham’s Crosswinds Project are in the record books, with the next two shows in Florida (Saturday in Largo, Sunday in Boca Raton). From there the tour heads to Chattanooga, Detroit, and Minneapolis. They will also hit Kuumbwa Jazz in Santa Cruz and shows in Buffalo and Natick before closing this tour with three nights at My Father’s Place at The Roslyn Hotel.

And guitarist Fareed Haque shared that the band’s new album, Billy Cobham: The Crosswinds Project Time Lapse Photos, has not been released yet but WILL be available at the shows.
The current Crosswinds Project Band on tour features: Billy Cobham, drums; Randy Brecker, trumpet; Paul Hanson, bassoon, soprano saxophone; Fareed Haque, guitars; Oz Ezzeldin, keyboards; and Tim Landers, bass. Cobham and Brecker have worked together numerous times over the past 50 years, beginning with the band they founded in 1970, Dreams. And Cobham and Landers have worked together often since Billy Cobham’s Glass Menagerie was formed in 1981.
