FGL Fest Coming to Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Grammy-nominated Florida Georgia Line will headline their own music festival FGL Fest on Saturday, Sept 7, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Florida Georgia Line, who are currently on the road with their Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour, will make a mid-tour stop at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a multi-act music festival that brings together some of the hottest acts in country music. Florida Georgia Line was nominated for a Grammy Award for their high-charting duo hit with multi-genre singer Bebe Rexha on their 2017 radio hit “Meant To Be” that won the iHeartRadio Music Award for Country Song of the Year. The tour comes in support of FGL’s early 2019 release of their fourth studio album, Can’t Say I Ain’t Country.
Having won their first Grammy Award in 2018 for their duo performance of super-hit “Tequila,” Dan + Shay have risen on the country charts to reach superstar status and have charted three number one country airplay hits with “Tequila,” “Speechless,” and “All to Myself” off their 2018 self-titled album Dan + Shay.
Dan + Shay, currently on tour with FGL, will perform that night. Also scheduled to perform is Nelly, whose genre-crossing mix of “Cruise” reached major success for both acts. Nelly, who is currently on tour with TLC and Flo Rida, will also make a special appearance with his friends Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of FGL. Mitchell Tenpenny, Blanco Brown, Canaan Smith and Payton Smith are scheduled to perform as well.
Produced by Live Nation, FGL Fest will coincide with NASCAR mega-race The Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard Powered by Florida Georgia Line that takes place on Sunday, Sept. 8.
