Miami Beach Pop Festival Announces Sizzling Lineup for Its Inaugural Event

The Miami Beach Pop Festival announced a sizzling hot lineup that taps into a deep vein of talent that includes artists as diverse as Chance The Rapper, Jack Johnson, Nile Rodgers and Chic, The Raconteurs, The Roots and Maggie Rogers. To be held Nov 8-10 on the shores of Miami Beach’s South Beach in between 5th and 10th Streets, the event also includes performances by Daddy Yankee, Kygo, Leon Bridges, Sean Paul, Jessie Reyez and more.

Plus the festival promises several historic collaborations billed under “Once In A Lifetime Sh*t.” These include the Grammy award-winner and dance music legend Nile Rodgers for Nile Rodgers’ Sol Jam with very special guests, an all-star tribute to Bob Marley featuring Stephen Marley with very special guests, and University of Miami’s Frost School of Music AME featuring Ben Folds.

In addition to delivering a mind-boggling cross-section of genres including pop, rap, reggae, Americana, dance and country, the festival will also showcase the many tastes of Miami. A multitude of the city’s culinary delights will be on hand and curated by local restauranteur and James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz.

With the crystalline waters of the Atlantic as a backdrop, the event will focus on the environment and sustainability utilizing a number of initiatives including the sale of canned water rather than single-use plastic bottles. Miami Beach Pop is also a member of the BYOBottle campaign lead by headliner Jack Johnson which encourages attendees to bring reusable water bottles. Free water refill stations with be available throughout the festival grounds.

Brought to South Florida by one of the most outstanding production teams in the business, including Paul Peck (Okeechobee, Outside Lands, Bonnaroo), Steve Sybesma (Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival) Bruce Orosz (ACT Productions and Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau), and Don Lockerbie (the Parker Company), the festival was more than a year in the making and celebrates one of the most diverse cities in the world.
