Deer Valley Concert Series Launches into Summer
The second annual Deer Valley Concert Series at the iconic Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, got underway Friday, June 28, with Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Chris Botti and The Utah Symphony. Held at the picturesque Snow Park Amphitheater in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains, the series is co-produced with local music promoters State Room Presents.
Summer performances includes a sold-out concert on June 30th by Michael Franti & Spearhead with Ziggy Marley playing support as well as a multitude of local and national acts from across the musical spectrum.
These include: Jenny Lewis, Waxahatchee, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, The War and Treaty, Indigo Girls, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Jessy Wilson, John Butler Trio, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Thievery Corporation, Squeeze, and X!
Reserved seating and general admission floor tickets are available for those who want to be nearer the stage. Attendees who want to spread out a bit with friends, family and a picnic can purchase lawn general admission tickets, which affords access to the venue’s ample green spaces. Of course, Park City is famous for food, culture and natural beauty, all of which are a stone’s throw away from Deer Valley Resort, which offers luxurious accommodations for festival-goers in need a of place to rest their heads.
