Hometown Favorites Parachute Perform in Charlottesville, VA

Parachute’s The Young Tour 2019 is well underway, and fans were delighted to have them stop in their hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia, on April 30. Formed in 2006, Parachute became a pop-rock sensation when their first major release, Losing Sleep, debuted at number 40 on Billboard 200 and as number 2 on Digital Albums chart. Many still remember Will Anderson‘s and Johnny Stubblefield‘s high school band and predecessor to Parachute, Sparky’s Flaw, which played everywhere in the Charlottesville area.

Billy Raffoul is a gifted Canadian singer/songwriter with a voice like Tom Waits dipped in honey and Joe Cocker with icing – a mix of gravel and whiskey that, paired with his compelling lyrics, has concert-goers listening to every word. Coming from a family of musicians, this 22-year-old is already a veteran writer and entertainer. Don’t miss Billy if he comes to your area!
