Brandi Carlile’s Girls Just Wanna Weekend 2 Announces 2020 Lineup
Building on the success earlier this year of the its wildly popular inaugural event, Brandi Carlile’s Girls Just Wanna Weekend 2 will return to the Rivera Maya, Mexico January 29 – February 2, 2020 with a dazzling lineup of some of music’s most powerful female stars. Hosted by three-time Grammy award-winner Brandi Carlile, the all female-fronted festival will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel and feature Carlile (THREE sets) and Sheryl Crow as headliners.
They will be joined by Lake Street Dive, Patty Griffin, Lucius, KT Tunstall, Jade Bird, Amanda Shires, Yola and comedian Wanda Sykes. The lineup will also feature special guests Ruby Amanfu, Natalie Hemby and Katie Herzig.
Presented by Cloud 9 Adventures, last year’s event set out to prove that an all female-fronted festival can be just as big a commercial draw as more traditional music festivals. It did that big time with several thousand people flocking to Mexico to participate in five days of music, unity and fun. The fun part includes poolside games, yoga, artist workshops, theme nights and more.
Packages are all-inclusive, and a limited number will be available for past participants with unused pre-sale passwords beginning on Friday, May 10 at 11:50 a.m. EST.
