No Rolling Stones. No Fleetwood Mac. Who’s Next for Jazz Fest?
Somebody observed that the ink wasn’t even dry on the posters.
April 4th, it was announced that Fleetwood Mac would fill the gaping hole in the Jazz Fest schedule created when Mick Jagger required heart valve surgery (which went well, we understand!), postponing their big North American tour set to start 4/20 AND cancelling their Jazz Fest appearance May 2nd.
And today, April 8th, it was announced that Stevie Nicks’ entanglement with the flu will similarly postpone the remainder of the dates on the Fleetwood Mac tour AND cancel their short-lived Jazz Fest announcement.
Who’s next? Third time’s the charm, ya know.
