VI Jam Fest Was a Magical Virgin Islands Experience

Well, we missed it, you and I. The inaugural VI Jam Fest just rolled through St. John in the Virgin Islands for three glorious days (March 7-8-9, plus a preparty on the 6th and an afterparty on the beach at Saffire on the 10th), and all you and I can do is gawk at the amazing photographs and videos of the magnificent location, the beautiful attendees, and the great music performed in an idyllic setting on a magnificent island in the Caribbean.

Presented by Cruz Bay Music with support from Tito’s, Jameson, Sirenusa, Vacation VI, and Because of the Lotus, VI Jam Fest was staged on the grounds of the historic Estate Susannaberg, “one of St. John’s privately owned historic treasures.” The hosts were Christie RegisterAndrew Peter, and Moe Angelo.

Seventeen bands played 27 sets on two stages, including: Ryan Montbleau Band, Zach Deputy, Treehouse!, KBong, Beartoe, St. Groovus, Addis Revolution, Brother Nature, John Welton & the Awakening, Vana Liya, Bubba Love, Hatch, Jake Bradley Band, Patsy + Kenny M., Erin Hart, Bama Boys Band, and Savannah Smiles Dueling Pianos!

Because of the Lotus was there every second with live painting, a 3-D art installation with biofeedback, and the ever-popular “Festy Feud,” a collaboration with John Welton and the Awakening. And they — Moe Angelo and Pat Anglin — chronicled the whole affair, as did Earthbound Studios.
