Save the dates for the best party at sea. Jam Cruise just announced in will be sailing for its 18th anniversary January 7-12, 2020, from Miami with stops at Ocean Cay, Bahamas, and Costa Maya, Mexico. What’s more, the event will return to the MSC Divina, an expansive, bodacious, beautiful ship which hasn’t hosted the event since 2016 (Jam Cruise 14).
But with a capacity of 3,500 passengers, bigger doesn’t mean Jam Cruise will sacrifice the intimate atmosphere and relaxed family vibe that the event is known for. In an email announcement, organizers pledged not to fill the ship to capacity in order to preserve the unique experiences that Jam Cruisers have come to expect.
Chief among those are outstanding lineups curated by an expert team at Cloud 9 Adventures, promoters of Jam Cruise and many other destination events including Holy Ship, Panic En La Playa, and Strings & Sol. Past lineups have featured a veritable who’s who of Jam’s best and brightest, including The Meters, Dr. John, Umphrey’s McGee, Leftover Salmon, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, GRiZ, Lettuce, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, The Revivalists, Break Science, JJ Grey & Mofro, Stanley Jordon, Col. Bruc Hampton, George Porter, Jr., Turkuaz, The New Mastersounds, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, Marcus King Band and many more. And Galactic has been on EVERY Jam Cruise so far!
Look for the much-anticipated lineup announcement on May 2, which will surely portend epic jams aboard ship – an aspect of Jam Cruise that is unrivaled anywhere in the music world.
Pre-booking is already underway and highly recommended in order to secure a spot on a cruise that sells out year after year. Just $250 down guarantees a cabin and is per cabin, not per person. Pre-booking ends April 30, with sales open to the general public on May 14. For more information and how to book click on the links below.
