Kip Moore, Chase Rice and More at 2019 WIRK Rib Roundup

The biggest barbecue in South Florida returns to West Palm Beach on Saturday, March 2nd, for a day of grillin’, chillin’ and a lot more. The WIRK 2019 Rib Round Up Music Festival brings together some of the biggest names in country music along with tantalizing BBQ by selected pit masters that’s a must-have at this annual event.

If you have attended a Rib Roundup in the past, you know what to expect: a day that starts off with a tailgate party that rivals what you can expect from a college football game. In fact, those attending by caravan get there early to get a good parking spot among friends to setup their own grills, corn hole games, and beer tables. It’s a party that everyone looks forward to annually at this highly attended event.

In its tenth year, the annual Rib Round Up Country Music Festival draws both music and barbecue lovers from all over Florida. The highlights of the festival besides the music are the ribs. Ten of the best pit masters from across the U.S. will be serving up countless plates of ribs cooked low and slow for those who like to indulge on those tasty grilled meats.

Record numbers were in attendance last year as Jake Owen, Luke Combs and Kane Brown headlined the event. If you’re a fan of country music, you’ll want to be there!

This year brings a new lineup consisting of headliner Kip Moore, whose song “Last Shot” recently peaked at #53 on Billboard’s Hot 100. Chase Rice has quickly become an international country sensation after spending part of 2018 traveling throughout the U.K. He is scheduled to release his Lambs & Lions album as a deluxe international edition in early March.

This year’s music festival takes place at the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach. The highly anticipated lineup includes Kip Moore (9:40p), Chase Rice (8:10p), Chris Lane (6:55p) Morgan Wallen (5:35p), Riley Green (4:20p), Maggie Baugh (3:20) and Ryan Montgomery (2:20p).

Rib Row is the iconic location where festival organizers expect to serve over 10,000 pounds of ribs for those attending the annual event. The featured pit masters include those local to South Florida and other national ribbers who come from across the U.S. to serve their very best ribs. The rib contest is judged throughout the day, with the pit master champion being named before the festival concludes.

If the headline bands aren’t enough music for you, head over to the Rib Stage that takes place inside of Rib Row, where many local up-and-coming performers will be taking the stage throughout the day. Performers include Bonn E Maiy (12:30p),  Dylan Schneider (2:50p), Nikki Lickstein (3:50p), Maggie Baugh (5:05p) and Ryan Montgomery (6:25p).
