Steadfast Music Festival – Columbus, Ohio – March 9th

Steadfast Music Festival is set for Columbus, Ohio, on March 9th. It will be taking over Strongwater, a local bar and event center, for the entire day. They will transform this hip restaurant into the rock capital of the city for more than six hours. This is the fourth year of this local music festival, a celebration of indie and alternative rock, featuring some of RadioU’s favorite bands including Mike Mains and the Branches, the spectacular electropop trio Shaed, andlocal indie blues-rock heroes Zoo TrippinThe lineup pays tribute to some of Columbus’ most beloved local bands, but Steadfast is about a lot more than just amazing local music.

A special pre-show will take place on Friday, March 8th, at Donatos Basement, located at 2084 N. High Street, which is in the OSU north campus area. There will be five bands playing the preshow; headliners are We Are the Movies. They’re a pop-punk act who have built quite a name for themselves over the years; they have even played at Vans Warped Tour.

Doors will open at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, March 9th at Strongwater (401 W. Town Street, Columbus). Admission to the preshow is $10, but you can get in for free if you show proof of purchase for your tickets to Steadfast. Tickets are only $15 for the entire day of music if you buy advanced sale or $20 at the door.
